New COO Appointed

London – 28 January 2010, investment management firm, Emergent Asset Management Ltd (Emergent) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Nealis as Chief Operations Officer.

Kevin will assume responsibility for Emergent’s financial and business operations.

Kevin has 25 years experience in the financial industry across operations, accounting, prime brokerage, asset management, private banking and electronic trading. He joins Emergent from Deutsche Bank (DB) where he was Global Head of the TMG Global Prime Finance division and European Head of TMG Equities. He was previosuly Head of DB\'s European Direct Market Access business.

Prior to this, Kevin worked for Goldman Sachs where he implemented their in-house portfolio accounting system and set up their Swiss Banking operation in Zurich, and also for JP Morgan in private banking and was responsible for setting up the London office of Knight Securities.
